Please read these instructions carefully before submitting your application

1 INSTRUCTION TO APPLICANTS:

  1. Every applicant should create a “User Account” to access the online application system.
  2. Available jobs are listing in the Dashboard. Click the “Apply” button against the job you wish to apply.
  3. The applicant must complete the online application by providing all necessary information.
  4. The applicant cannot change the data entered again after submitting the application online.
  5. The applicants are responsible to submit the duly filled online application form on time and make sure that all details entered are true and accurate.
  6. The Application should accompany with the paid Original Bank Slip for the deposit of a sum of Rs.100/- credited to the Bank of Ceylon, Account No: 2364602 in favor of the Bursar, University of Vavuniya. The scanned copy of the bank slip/ payment proof should be uploaded in the relevant field of the online system.
  7. After completing the online application, click on “Submit Application” button.
  8. Select “My Applications” in the Side Bar then click on “PDF” to download the application in PDF format.
  9. The printed application should be signed and sent by registered post to the Deputy Registrar, Establishments, University of Vavuniya, Pambaimadu, along with certified copies of the educational & professional qualifications (including a statement of degrees and service certificates). The post applied for should be marked on the top left-hand corner of the envelope. The Candidates who apply for more than one post should submit a separate online application with a separate Bank Slip.
  10. Applicants from the University System/Government Departments /Corporations and Statutory Boards should channel their applications through the Head of the respective Institutions, but may send an advance copy in the first instance on or before the closing date. However, no such applicant will be considered for interview, if the application channeled through the Head of the Department is not received.
